Subject: Screen Handling

I thought yesterday that I might as well have a quick shot at some proper
screen handling - ie. not intercepting OSASCI/OSWRCH. However, as soon as
I zapped the interception routines, it just went into a permanent loop as
soon as it thought about putting anything on the screen. It was just a
shot in the dark really; I wasn't expecting it to work too well, but it
was quite a big loop (a lot to sift through) and I was wondering if
anyone else had encountered this and if they had found out what it was
doing. I can't think of much; I suppose it might be polling for a
vertical retrace or something but then there's not much point for it
doing that; any ideas?
