Subject: Trivial Banter

Yep folks, that's what I've got to say... ;-)

I am in an *ecstatic* mood. I looked in the Scotsman today (class paper) 
and saw someone apparently selling 8x1Mb SIMMS for 80 quid. Wow! 
Methinks, a misprint. Anyway, I phoned him from work but no reply; I got 
home and rang every ten minutes until he answered! Well, I got around 
there 5 mins later (twas not a misprint!) and as I raced through a cheque 
he moaned that 4 other people had phoned since me!

Anyway, I now have 8Mb (as opposed to 1Mb!) of 70ns SIMMs for a tenner a 
meg! This is the kind of thing that always happens to someone else!

Anyway, I don't mean to depress you all; I've got a couple of other 
things to say...

1. Thanks a lot to JB and MC for the keyboard info; I think that's what 
I'll try and implement next. I still, however, have the thing bombing out 
with an invalid opcode after a lot is displayed on the screen but I think 
it's my OSWRCH hack messing up.

2. Does anyone have a manual for a Tandon XT? My dad uses one for 
w/processing and I bought a 3.5" floppy drive for it but alas, no manual, 
no dip switch settings. Any help would be much appreciated!

3. Do any of you elite-ites play Frontier? I can't get anywhere! Just a 
shot in the dark...
