Subject: Elecron + Plus 1 + AP3?

I'm having some trouble with the following system

       Acorn Electron (issue 6 i think)
       Acorn Plus 1
       ACP Advanced Plus 3

When I power it up I get a MODE 6 screen that looks like someone's done a 
COL.129:CLS on it. No beep, no caps lock light.

If I take the interface out then the electron works perfectly.

Any ideas? My intital thoughs are something up with the reset or NMI 
lines somewhere.
