Subject: Upgrading my Electron

Hi,

I'm just in the process of upgrading my (already heavily upgraded)
Electron to a BBC Master (brand new from Acorn and costing only
stlg61.10 inc VAT and P+P) and I realise there are going to be a few
things I'll miss:

I've got a ROM in my Elk called the +2 which adds a load of *
commands such as *FORMAT and *VERIFY for ADFS. When I get the Master
(should come through any day!) I believe I'll have to use a utilities
disc?
The other main feature I'm going to miss is a cartridge by the name
of Click. This is/was a natty little device that had a button on top
which interupted programs and provided a series of utilties from a
menu such as calendar (not much use), ADFS utilties (including a
brilliant "tree" display - well it was brilliant then) and disk and
memory editors, ROM control etc.

Is there anything like this for the Master? I'm not too concerned
about being able to interupt programs like Click, I just like the
utilities. I've been looking through old Electron Users / Micro Users
and have seen reference to a few products by PRES that sound pretty
good:

Advanced Disc Toolkit, Advanced Control Panel and Advanced File
Manager. Which one would be the most powerful. I think I'll also need
a ROM cartridge adaptor which'll hold the chip.

If anyone can provide me with information on these ROMs and where I
might be able to get them (is PRES still trading, and if so, what's
their number?).

Your comments would be appreciated.

Julian
