Subject: DFS versions

As there are quite a few DFS versions around at the BBC lives, I thought
I'd post the question, can anyone shed some light on the differences
between some of the versions so I can write some sort of quick quide.

eg. Solidisk
DFS-1770-2.0J.rom
DFS-1770-2.0L.rom
DFS-1770-2.1A.rom
DFS-1770-2.1j1.rom
DFS-1770-2.1j2.rom
DFS-1770-2.1M2.rom
DFS-1770-2.2N2.rom
DFS-8271-2.1.rom
DFS-8271-2.2j.rom
HDFS-1.05.rom
STLADFS-2.1M.rom
STLADFS-2.1M2.rom
STLADFS-2.1Mx.rom
STLADFS-2.1S.rom

Some are labelled "Issue 1" & "Issue 2" - does this mean it's intended for
issue 1 or 2 of the Solidisk 1770 board, or is it issue 1 or 2 of the ROM ?
Any comments would be much appreciated - also on the other "varieties", ie
I remember someone mentioning that Watford DFS 1.44 supports TUBE and the
1.43 and previous doesn't.
Such information is still usefull as it's not widely documented anymore.
