Subject: RAMAMP Board

I have RAMAMP RAM/ROM board, and I cannot seem to get 1 of the banks of
sideways RAM working, when I do a *ROMS, I get this from socket D which
should contain the other bank of RAM:

D 8k rom ?

Whereas the working bank says:

A 16k ram ?

I know that D should be 16k, and that it should be RAM, as there is no way
of write protecting only one of the ram banks, either both or neither.

I have noticed that there are some board modifications, with wires
bypassing things on the board, near the ram, but without a circuit diagram,
I would not know if these are affecting the board in any way, would it be
safe to remove these and see what happens, and if they don't work put them
back in?

I need any information that I can get, anything, I only have the fitting
instructions, and not the disk which originally it should have had!

HELP PLEASE!!

See ya!
