Subject: 1770 Disk Upgrade

Hi

Does anyone have an original copy of Elite (the Acornsoft one) and also a
1770 disk interface?  If you do, can you just tell me if it works?  I've
heard that some 1770 DFS's work with it, but some don't - which is the
cut-off one? 

I want to get a 1770 DFS and controller board, but there are hardly any
around - would it be easy to make one from the parts?  I have the fitting
instructions, and the parts seem fairly standard.   The main reason would
be for ADFS, I would get a Master 128 but they aren't fully compatible with
my main interest (games!) and I don't have room for both!

If anyone can help!
