Subject: 3.5 Inch Drives

Hi

I have connected a 1.44mb 3.5 inch drive to my Beeb, but there is a problem
with the 1.2 DFS in that it does not wait long enough for the drive to
spin-up, so 3.5 inch drives don't work with 1.2 DFS, they report a Drive
Error 10 (drive not responding or ready).  It will catalogue and write
short files, but large movements across a disk report in the error.  I'm
not sure whether this happens with 720k drives.  I know that someone made a
fix for this, and made an updated DFS 1.2 ROM, which if anyone has can they
mail me a copy!  Also, does anyone know if this happens on DFS 0.9?
