Another problem I can think of is that the BBC RGB output is TTL, whereas
the inputs on all PC monitors are Analogue RGB.

You would probably need to build an TTL->Analogue converter, but even
then you probably couldn't generate the minimum horizontal and vertical
frequencies that the PC monitors need.

One monitor that might work with any kind of converter that you build is
the old Taxan 775/795 multisync. This was one of the few monitors that 
supports VGA and up, but could also scan down low enough to do Modes 12/15
etc. on an Archimedes.
