Can anyone tell me if 'Purple People Eaters' is a game by Acornsoft or not.

Various people have told me it is, and some have said it isn't.  However,
it makes no mention of Acornsoft, is very short and written all in basic,
and is not protected in any way at all.  It is also an appaling game and
bears no resemblance to the standard of most Acornsoft games.

Can anyone tell me if it is written by Acornsoft, and if it isn't, who it
is written by??
