Thanks for the replies!

I have the Watford Electronics DDFS 1.53 - does anyone know if this should
contain the tube code? I have tried it but with no reponse.

Thanks

Ian

It won't just work - you need a DFS with the Tube host code built in.

Suitable DFSs are the Acorn DNFS 1.20 or the Watford DFS 1.44

Switch everything off, plug the 2P into the Tube socket on the Beeb, turn
the 2P on first and then the Beeb.

If it's all OK you will get the startup message "Acorn TUBE 6502 64K"

I wonder if anyone can help.
I've acquired a 6502 2nd processor for my BBC B - but I don't know if it
works, or indeed how I can find out if it works. Should it just connect up
and go?

Many thanks!

Ian
