Hi

Time for the soldering iron......

Problem: Issue 4 BBC B only boots to a flashing underline in the top left
with a quick beep.

The last thing I did before the machine refused to boot was to push down the
socketed IC's in the "Econet area" down to make sure they were properly
seated.
If I remove the NFS ROM the machine boots.
If I make link S2 the machine boots.
If I remove IC 97 the machine boots.
Swapping IC97 for a known good IC doesn't help.

Any ideas which track might be broken ? I've had the magnifying glass out
but to no avail.
