Subject: Reading 3.5" BBC/Electron disks on a PC

Well, here's my first email to the list. And this is what I want to know:-

I have several 3.5" BBC and Electron (DFS and ADFS) disks, all I think
Single Density Double sided (either 80K or 160K I think). Is there any good
and reliable way of getting my PC to read these disks. I have tried FDC,
and I can't get it to work.

Also, I'm starting to write (yet another) emulator. Hopefully mine will
support the Master and Electron rather than just the old Model B. The
question is, where can I get info on the Memory-mapped IO for these machines
(and also the B)?

Where does one get info on things like the 1770, 8271, 6845, etc.?
