I was going to suggest Sheffield. As I held the Not-The-Acorn-User-Shows,
I was also going to suggest my place. Easily accessible, plenty of pubs
and take-aways, quiet neighbourhood, well recommended. Fully instructive
directions maps available.

What sort of numbers would be involved? In 1996 we held the get-together
over the last long weekend in July - Friday lunchtime to Sunday evening.
Attendance was: Friday: about 6, Saturday: about 20, Sunday: about 10,
with about 5 staying overnight for the full weekend. Two rooms of
networked BBC/Master equipment were available, with various miscellaneous
hardware to play with, including MIDI interfaces and equipment, and a
garden for sitting in the sun.

Smoking forbidden.
