Subject: Master problems

Hi,

I wonder if anyone could point me to solving a problem with a Master which
I have just acquired.

After switching on, the screen displays the message "this is not a
language" (or similar phrase) and leaves a * prompt.

help produces

I cannot find basic and the rom compliment after typing roms is

ROM F Terminal 01 Unplugged
          E View 02 U/P
          D AcornDFS 50 U/P

          9 DFS 79 U/P
          8 - 0 ?  U/P
