No rules exist, as you've probably figured out, though it might be safer
to assume DFS than ADFS.  There are also quite a few Watford DFS images
floating about.

I've never seen ADF or ADL used for BBC images.  I've seen severeal
Archimedes images use ADF, though I mostly associate it with Amiga.

As for other extensions, "UEF" seems to be picking up speed... :-)
