Subject: transfer of files

Dear BBC micro email list: My Grandad wants to transfer some files from
BBC format discs to PC. He asked me because I used to use the good ol beeb
ages ago and I thought I could do it, but I can't.

At work I can transfer from ADFS 5.25 inch to ADFS 3.5 inch on an
Archimedes and then from ADFS 3.5 to PC DOS on another machine, but my
Grandad's disks are "Watford double density DFS" not ADFS. Does anyone
have any advice for me?
