My eprom eraser is built from the driver circuit from a fluorescent torch
(2.99ukp) with the normal 6" 4W tube replaced by a 'spare' 6" 4W UV eraser
tube from Maplin (19.99ukp, but possibly cheaper elsewhere), mounted inside
a black ABS box. It runs off 6v (or 3 D cells).
Works great - blanks up to 6 ROMs at a time in under 15 mins.
