Subject: Re: Beeb stuff

What I want to do is to log on with my BBC using my log on and password for
the karoo account that I have already paid for. I have tried this and get as
far as the point where POP is required (I think) and I can't get any
further. Obviously my Master needs some software that can handle this.

As far as looking at websites (rather than using it for e-mails) goes. I
have tried to make the 8BS website as simple as possible so that a beeb
could view it and regularly have a look around it in 'text only' using Lynx.
There are huge problems to get over, some of the pages are far larger than a
BBC disc (let alone memory!) could hold for instance, so it would have to be
viewed as it came in with no chance of scrolling up and down. Links would be
a problem, maybe presenting them as a list at the end of the text is one
thing I thought, but the first thing is to actually connect the Beeb to the
internet.......

Flash! Heh!
