Hi Chris,

I have exactly the same problems, I use a BBC B+ as the source computer (My
2 BBC B comnputers will not transfer anything to the computer but will
receive the xfer program?)

With regards to the Get disc image, this does not work for me either, I
asked about this earlier this year and Angus Duggan replied "Is the DFS
fully 8271-compatible? The disc transfer option uses the 8271 load sector
commands." I have not looked into which one is in my B+ but it could explain
the failure.

I can help you here but it is slow if you are transfering a lot of files.
The way I get around the transfered files not working in BBCExlorer is to go
into windows explorer and remove the $. or just the . from both files (the
data file and .inf file, they must both keep the same filename but that name
can be anything as far as I can see) The file will then copy into
BBCExplorer.

Hope this is of some use to you.
