Subject: Re: Found my old beeb

As long as his loft wasn't damp and there's no mould(!) I see no reason
why they shouldn't be - I've just recently bought a stack of 100+ beeb
discs of varying vintages, many of which must be older than 8 years (one
of which I know for a fact hadn't been used for 9 years) and I've not
come across a duff one yet.

Subject: [BBC-Micro] Found my old beeb

Hi guys - thought I'd share this with you all as I'm quite exceited.
About 7 or 8 years ago I left all my BBC gear (including, Model B, Music
500/0, Demon modem, various ROMS, 100s of discs, etc) at a friends house
and we sort of lost touch.
Thanks to Friends Reunited, he emailed me this week, and amazingly, he
thinks hes still got it all up in his loft.
If he has (heres hoping) what do you think the chances are that the
discs are still rbe eadable? The hardware was all working last thing I
remember...
Cheers,
Nige.
