Subject: Re: ADFS Layout

MessageThanks to all for the responses, especial Thomas who put the file
up on his site & Mark for e-mailing me the info, and Richard who offered
to look the info up for me "(B.T.W. I don't have the mag you mentioned
in my collection).
It's great to know there are people out there who are willing to help,
now I can get down to trying to repair my corrupted H.D. with months
worth of work transferring BBC discs onto the H.D. & yes I do have a
backup but can't read one of the disk's.

Word of warning to other playing with ADFS beware of the ADFS utility
ROM ADU, I tried to do a rename of a DIR which was not successful and
resulted in the FS being corrupted on the H.D.!!! It's a nice utility
but has some problems, at least it had a very nice disk editor in it for
ADFS.

Thanks all again.

Does anyone know where can find inforamtion on the layout of a ADFS
filing system I.E. how a DIR is structured on the disk etc.
I have looked on the "BBC Lives" website but could not find any
information.

    Thanks Peter.
