Subject: More hyperbole

Thanks for that Dave,

While I'm on a roll with my 'flights of fancy', how feasible would it be to
devise a filesystem that utilises the serial port (with a PC at the other
end) as its storage medium.

I salute the authors of software like XFER and BBC Downloader for producing
such useful utilities but wouldn't it be an ideal scenario to access
software directly from an area on the PC?

A kind of FTP for BBC where you can *CAT the contents of a folder on the PC,
and CHAIN, *RUN etc. files that reside there.

Maybe this already exists?

Austin.
