Subject: APB for Steve Green

Good evening all

I am trying to track down a STEVE GREEN, his name is mentioned in the
Starturn EPROM ASCII comments of a CNC lathe I have. He would have
Worked for a company called GSM SYNTEL during 1984. He was involved in
the coding for the BBC software that controls the STARTURN CNC lathe
marketed by Denford. Does any one know this fellow or how I can track
him down, or know anyone who worked for GSM SYNTEL. I did a company
search and found that this company was called G.S.M.ELECTRICAL CONTROLS
LIMITED before 04/03/1983 then GSM - SYNTEL LIMITED untill 24/07/1995
and finaly it became SYNTEL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. It was dissolved
28/07/1998.

I am looking for this ROM which is an 8k on a carrier the easiest way to
identify this is if you look at the underside (pin side) of the Carrier
PCB it has SYNTEL 1984 written on it. The machine would have come from a
Technical college or school and would have been connected to a Denford
Starturn lathe but a lot of these have been separated and this renders
the lathe useless. I know these are long shots but you just never
know.....

Alastair
