Subject: Hi from new list member

Hi,

After a long brake from the BBC micro I decided to see how the
emulation scene was going. I stopped using a Master 128 in around
1990, obtaining an Archimedes instead.

Anyway, the reason for writing was that I am trying to find the names
to two applications that I used when transfering educational software
from tape to disk for someone else. The programs concerned were a
disk formatter (not the most exciting thing I know) and a menu maker
program for making front ends to disks.

The formatter used to play assending beeps as it was formatting the
disk, and then played a tune at the end of the format process, and the
menu program used to make noises also, and when the user choose the
option, the menu would remove all other options apart from the
sellected option, giving the user to either select (l) the option or
reselect (r) another choice.

Do these ring any bells with anyone?

Thanks,
Andrew.
