Subject: BeebEm Development

I bet those are two words you werent expecting to see in the same sentence
:P

After a perversely long break from doing any work on BeebEm, I have recently
thought about resuming development. But I'd like to know if there is still
sufficient interest in BeebEm before restarting.

Further to that, I'd like some input on what people would want out of it,
for example, any changes to the user interface, or how certain aspects of
emulation are controlled, etc, as well as any new features that people would
like to see.

There was also discussion of a plugin system, which partially got underway
with the creatin of FDC plugins. I'd like some input on what sort of plugins
people would like to see.

There is also the (now legendary) speed issue. I am aware that BeebEm has
problems concerning emulation rate, and while trying to eliminate these
problems, I'd like volunteers to test numerous alpha/beta versions, possibly
many times a day. Because of this, I would prefer people who can be around a
lot so I can send them an update and get a report back within the day.

So, Is there still interest, and do I have any volunteers?
