It's much easier to use Compact Flash as IDE hard drives, as compact flash
conforms to the ATA/IDE standard.

I've got DOS Machines running in a 16/32/64/128 & 256MB compact flash, I've
also tried Windows 3.1/9x operating systems, but the read/write functions of
those operating systems is too much for the compact flash, it's very very
slow, and causes them to fail very quickly.

Windows CE is much better in compact flash. Anyone for a WinCE Beeb
Emulator?

Regards

Andrew
