Subject: FW: writing images to a drive-success!!!

This is probably a bit late now, but...

If you want to use a PC for:

BBC floppies
BBC disc images (.img/.ssd/.dsd)
BBC .inf files

you can now use BBC '*' commands (on the PC) on all of these using the
latest version of:

http://www.shlock.u-net.com/Utils/OmniDisk.zip

There'll be a webspace soon (hopefully) with more info.

[single/double density: I've found 1 PC so far (out of 30) that won't handle
single density (using above program)]

Jason.

Well, come on then. Don't keep us in suspense, tell us more. What's
your PC floppy controller chip, what hardware and software are you using
to write the images to disk on your PC, and does your BBC have 8271 or
1770 DFS?
