Subject: BBC PS, Acorn ROMs

L.S.

On the subject of BBC PSs, I repaired one recently (see
http://www.astro.livjm.ac.uk/~bbc/pictures/varia/repair.html ) and saw
that on that PS it said 'Made in Hong Kong' on the PS PCB. Odd, quickly
checked the back, standard Astec UK power supply, so I checked the PS I
got the replacement condenser from: It had a sticker that said 'Made in
England' on the PCB in exactly the same place as the 'made in Hong
Kong'. Peeling it off I found... of course, made in Hong Kong...

SOmething else: Does anyone know/have an Acorn ROM with the B03
identifier on it? Just wondering what it is (if it exists): B01=Basic 1,
B02=OS 0.1-EPROM, B04=OS1.2, B05=Basic 2.

Regards,

Wouter
