The trickiest example I came across was that a 65C02
appeared
to work perfectly in my issue 4 BBC model B, except
that some
code I was developing which used the User VIA quite
heavily didn't
work correctly.
Putting the original NMOS 6502 back in made the code
spring into
life, and I never had confidence in using a 65C02 in a
model B after
that.
