Those are common failures in old equipment - they tend to let out a
*lot* of smoke. I had one go in an Apple /// and another in a 
Torch XXX on the same day a couple of weeks ago... grr!

Aren't Dick Smith's still going there? I bet you could walk into a store
and they'd give you a replacement. 

Part no. 206-7702 looks to be what you need from RS though. 

I believe they often come in blue pacakges these days rather than the
yellow.

I believe they're just there to reduce noise back from the PSU to the
domestic supply.
