I have a vivid memory of this happening on the Acorn stand at various 80s
computer shows - both scrolling text, and graphics involving the Snapper
characters chasing each other around the top of the stand. I always wanted
to know how it was done. The graphics used all 8 colours, and were fast
enough that I can't believe they could have been in anything other than Mode
7. They weren't exactly detailed, though - the pixels were something like an
inch square on the Cub screens...it would look super-cool today though!
