This is a comprehensive suite of software applications that allow users of
ECONET networks to share teletext information. This can either be from a
locally stored database of pages or from live services. As with all Design
IT teletext applications, TeleView is also compatible with foreign teletext
services.

TELETEXT SERVING

The system works using the server/client approach. This means that a user
runs a program in their BBC or Master computer (*TELETEXT) or Archimedes
(!TeleView) which can then request pages from a BBC model 'B' or BBC Master
128 computer acting as a server. Only the server computer needs to be
equipped with a teletext adapter to allow your networked stations to receive
live teletext pages.
