Hello Charles,

I'm pretty sure the bottom picture (Watford  Electronics DDB BBC Micro)
is a double-density disk interface. The empty socket on the top should
contain either a WD1770 or WD1772 IC and the board plugs into the 8271
socket on the BBC B motherboard.

Anything with HD6264 is probably some kind of sideways RAM board for the
model B.
