Probably none. BUT IT IS HIS CHOICE.

Guess what I'm gonna say here?

Please - let it go! If I was John, and was even /considering/ releasing the
notes when I was done with it all, I'm pretty sure that these e-mails would
make me inclined to shout "stuff the lot of you" (or the Dutch equivalent)
and ceremonally burn the schematics. Loin cloth and crazy dancing optional;
bring your own goat.

Don't get me wrong: I am envious of John's abilities, and if I had managed to
create something like this I'd be framing the schematics and boring everyone
to death with it. It would be lovely if/when he finally retires from
computing he would release the plans. But this dialogue isn't gonna make that
happen!

And in his mail that you replied to, he clearly states that he has no more to
say on it. Which means that your email was a waste, and so is this one. :)

Kind regards, both to you and to John,

Kris Adcock
