I believe you should be able to plug it straight into the Master.
There may be a PCB link to select a 64K ROM instead of a 128K ROM.
I know the Compact does.
 
All the Compact's hardware is in the same place as the Master's,
so ADFS and the MOS will work. '@' is on '0' instead of next to
'P'. The only problem is that the Compact doesn't have a RTC or
CMOS RAM. I don't know if the Compact accesses the EEPROM over the
internal bus as though it was a RTC. If it does, then the RTC will
look like the EEPROM to the MOS.
 
It would make sense if it does, because then you could just drop a
Master 128 ROM into the Compact, setting the ROM link to 128K,
giving you View, ViewSheet, Edit and DFS on board.
