Subject: Island Logic Music System

Morning all,

Some time ago there was a discussion about the Island Logic Music System -
mostly concluding that it wasn't available for download on the Internet, and
it was a little bugger to crack the protection.

Well, I've managed to get hold of a copy through e-Bay. There's four floppies
and various bits of documentation. Would anyone here be up for the challenge
of cracking the protection and creating SSDs for posterity? Obviously you'd
need to have a pretty complete understanding of how floppies and DFSs work,
and have a working 5.25-inch drive.

I'm not planning on composing anything on my beeb, before you ask. :) But
when I first saw it running I was very impressed with the demo tunes that
came with it, and I want to hear them again.

If you reckon you could do this, drop me a mail privately and I'll get the
floppies sent over to you. Meanwhile, I'll be scanning the docs and keystrips
..

All the best,

Kris.
