The AMPLE ROM has an ID number built in. Modules paired with that ROM have a
checksum based upon the number. I seem to remember that setting the checksum
to zero allows you to run the modules on any ROM. (Or maybe the other way
round; you may need to blow a new ROM with a zero ID number.)
