I have a tape-only B+ - see here:

http://www.beebmaster.co.uk/B+.html

*ROMS probably won't work, I think it is part of the DFS ROM.

Best wishes,

Ian

Try *ROMS

See if the DFS is unplugged

Then *INSERT it if is listed - then CTRL+BREAK

(I can't remember if the B+ has these commands, I only have a Master)

I would be very surprised to find a B+ with no DFS, unless there is a
special Econet version ?

Kind regards

Dave ;)

Subject: [BBC-Micro] BBC B+

Hi everyone

Can anyone tell me what the screen should say when a BBC B+ 64K is first
switched on ?

I checked mine at the weekend and got ...

ACORN OS 64K

BASIC

When I typed *HELP I got

OS 2.00

Should it display info about the DFS ? Or did it not have one fitted as
standard ?

Thanks in advance

Neil Ward
