Subject: re:- Jonathan G. Harston's 8 bit IDE HD units

Hello to all,

I have been putting two of these through their paces
for the past few weeks and my preliminary impressions
of them are that they are very good indeed.

Mine were delivered in black Maplin's casings which are quite
attractive, and which contain the units neatly..

The setting-up for my two was so simple, even a blind man
could have done it all, so to speak.

Operation is seamless and surprisingly almost totally noiseless.
ADFS 1.53 that arrived with my units functions very much the
same as 1.50 and one would barely know the difference..

By the way, there are plenty of lengths of cables which enables
placing of the hard drive units conveniently.

Well done, Jonathan.
