Hehehehehe, I've been there!

Got rid of everything, including my 380Z's, Nimbus's, Electron, Atom, Speccy
etc. but kept the Beeb stuff.

Freed up over 3 cubic metres of space!

So, if you're a Beeb nut (I guess you must be, being on this mailing list)
give the rest the heave-ho. It's a psychological game, tell the other half
the sacrifices you're making getting rid of the old, non-beeb stuff and I'm
sure she'll let you keep the Beeb stuff until next Spring...

I've got the entire Micro User magazine collection which the other half has
recently noticed, that is about a metre high, might give them to a local guy
who is totally Acorn crazy.

Dave ;)

Subject: [BBC-Micro] To sell or not to sell ?

Greetings

I wonder if you can help me make a decision or two ...

I have amassed a collection of much loved BBC machines and am trying to
decide
whether to keep them or let them go to the highest bidder on ebay.

The thing is, the Missus has been nagging me about the space they take up
but I could, with a bit of careful planning, pack the machines I don't use
out of the way. I went a litle overboard with retro collecting about 8
years
ago and admittedly it has got out of hand. I am however selling lots of
other stuff to keep "Er Indoors" happy but cannot come to terms with parting
from my Beebs.

Am I being silly here ? Some opinions would be appreciated !

Thanks

Neil.
