Do you know if that'll do three-rail devices too? (2708's, certain 2716's etc.)

My current one (an old Elan ROM/PAL programmer) won't handle programming such
devices and is too also old to address anything larger than 1MBit. I'm half
keeping an eye open for a replacement one day... (2708's may be found on the
earlier System machines, whilst some ARM-powered machines use ROMs larger than
1MBit)

On the plus side, all control can be done via the keypad / LCD built into the
Elan programmer - all the machine at the other end of the serial connection
needs to be able to do is send / receive data. Highly recommended way of doing
it...

cheers
