Subject: Master to SCART

All,

I've just soldered up a DIN to SCART adapter as described at:

  http://www.mdfs.net/Info/Comp/BBC/Monitor/BBCtoTV.htm

The picture is rock-solid but faded. Some parts of some characters
never appear. In MODE 7, the bottom two rows of a 'W' appear very
faint, and on every 'A', the horizontal line never appears, with the
pixel at the right where the line joins the vertical appearing black.

It's most odd. I'm suspecting something to do with the SYNC line - I
only had a set of E3 series resistors handy so replaced the 270R with a
220R + 47R... but would a mere three ohms cause this?

Anyone got ideas? I can probably take a picture of the TV on my phone.

Best wishes,

Peter.
