True enough.  I'm romantic enough to imagine a scenario where the laptop
reseller money goes towards luring back some of the old talent, though.  If
they've succeeded in buying the name, logo and trading rights from Pace (?)
then maybe they've acquired some of the technology, too.  There has to be a
valid reason for them wanting to trade as Acorn.  With all due respect to
Acorn, the brand never had the same kudos as either Commodore or Atari - I
can't imagine sales just falling in their lap because their portables are
branded "Acorn".

I'll be interested to see who the "mystery backers" are come the 10th.
