You should pick more appropiate subject lines. I eagerly loaded
this message to find out how to repair a 5.25 drive head, only to
find out it was a *question* asking how to repair a drive head.
 
Should have been: "How *do* *I* repair a 5.25 drive head*?*"

If the drive readlly doesn't work, chuck it away and get a
replacement.
