Subject: Acorn and 8" floppies...

Hmm, random find of the day. A stray 8" floppy here which came with a pile of
5.25" floppies containing Acorn stuff that were originally owned by Jon
Thackray (of Topologika fame).

Label as follows:

   EPROM routines RB6
   Xfer
   Sorc
   App
   Acorn
   GS

It reads almost like it might be a disk of data transfer routines between an
Acorn machine and some other box. Anyone know what systems Jon owned besides
Acorns? :-)

Could well be something totally different, of course. No guarantee that the
disk even "belongs" with Jon's 5.25" collection (it all came in a clear-out
from Cambridge uni). It's got me curious though, but unfortunately I gave away
my last system that had 8" drives a while back, so an attempt to read it is a
while away...
