Subject: MDFS bankrupt accounts

Hi all,

I think now is a good time to ask you all about this. Not only because some
discussions were present here about several SJ Research File Servers, but
my believe in having incomplete manual(s) is getting to be less valid I
fear, although still not sure: I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've
checked the two important directories SYSPROGS and LIBRARY quite heavily, but
still I'm unsuccessful:

Most of the accounts are in bankrupt state, and I've found nothing sofar to
correct that. It means new users created with account number(s) can't even
log in, as an 'Insufficient access' is reported when doing '*I am ...'.

When a user root directory is created - after making an entry in the
password file - I then use and get:

  *ACCOUNT <dirname> 80

  Account 080 bankrupt

According to the manual it means I should create some space - credit the
account's balance - first, which seems logical. But doing so I type/get:

  *CREDIT 80 100

  Syntax error

so I'm completely stuck now. (for years TBH)

Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Any help is very much appreciated! TIA

Greetings,
Johan
