Subject: Anyone recognise this board?

>>Neil, Looks like a sideways RAM board that can swap out the
soldered in Acorn ROM (B05 is BASIC II AFAIK) The main grey lead
will go into a ROM socket and the flyleads I would expect to
have a switch to swap the ROM for sideways RAM, another for
power perhaps, and maybe one for a write-protect switch.

Thanks Paras. I've added a pic of the IDC lead.

You'll see that there are definitely witness marks for two
separate IDC headers, clearly not for a ROM socket I would say.
And at over 26 inches long, the lead looks like it was intended
to leave the case. I was wondering whether it was a header board
for one of those external ROM/RAM boxes that let you switch in
one of eight ROMs or sideways RAM banks. There were three or
four marketed in the eighties but I've never owned one so I'm
not sure what the interface would have looked like.

-Neil.
