Subject: Last one I promise (I hope anyway!)

Hi Chaps,

OK, I will try and make this the last one, really I will :)

Issue 7 motherboard, econet fitted, ATPL board fitted, DFS 1770.

Starts up OK, attempt to do *HELP or *ROM starts to list roms, get's
halfways (usually) and then displays garbage usually (OSCLIOSCLICHROSCLIO)

After this, usually slow to boot, get BBC Microcomputer 32K, then a
pause, then Acorn DFS 1770, then pause, then BASIC etc...

It doesn't do this with the ATPL board not installed, however I have
tried it with two ATPL boards with the same results.

If I try and run a ROM from the ATPL board despite the issues, I usually
get a screen of garbage, but if I relocate the ROM to the motherboard
rom sockets, it seems fine.

So it appears to be an issue with the ATPL or the interfacing to it, I
know the boards are good, I have tried them in other machines.

My next step is to replace the rom sockets on the mainboard that the
ATPL fits into, as the sockets are a peculiar sort, like half a socket
only for want of a better word!

But I thought I'd ask before I beat my head against the wall any more :)

Cheers
Chris
