If you mean the 15.625kHz whistle, that's easy to fix. It's the linearity
coil near the front of the monitor resonating, often just desoldering it and
putting it in the other way round will silence it (or pumping a load of hot
glue all over it).

If you mean the 50Hz oscillator, tough - get some earplugs,
Sprow.
